Behind the Scenes of Meet Me at the Plaza

Meet Me at the Plaza is a collaborative project by musician Julian Brown and storyteller Keisa Reynolds, also known as Sula Found.

Enjoy this conversation about the show themes and what collaborating on this creative project means to the duo who have known each other for 25+ years.

To guide our conversation, we answered the following questions:

  • What show themes resonate with you the most and why?
  • What does this show mean for us as individual artists and as a collaborative duo?
  • How we influenced each other in our creative practices during this process?
  • How do you trust what people are saying about your art instead of prioritizing what you think?
  • What do we hope to achieve by sharing our art? Why a live show?

Who are we when no one else is around? What captures our minds & inspires us to dream? We’re using music, collage, and live storytelling to answer these questions for ourselves. We invite you to do the same and hope to see you next month.
